Description

In this session, you will practise using the second conditional to talk about imaginary situations, dreams, and possibilities. You will learn how to ask and answer "What would you do if...?" questions and explain your reasons. By the end of the session, you will feel more confident using the second conditional in everyday conversations.

Session Activities

3: If you could speak any language perfectly, which one would you choose?

4: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

5: If you didn't have to work, how would you spend your time?

6: If you could meet any famous person, who would you choose?

7: If you could change one thing about your city, what would it be?

8: If you were the leader of your country for one day, what would you do?

Imagine (verb)

to think about something that is not real. Example: Imagine you could fly.

Lottery (noun)

a game where people can win a lot of money. Example: He won the lottery.

Wish (verb)

to want something that is difficult or impossible. Example: I wish I could speak five languages.
