In this lesson, we will discuss 'superstitions' and how they affect us, for good or for bad!
We will discuss first, to get some ideas together, before watching a video about some international superstitions from different countries around the world.
After, we will take some vocabulary from the video and try to use it in our own speaking.
So, do you know why black cats are considered unlucky in the west? And why shouldn't you walk under a ladder in the UK?

1: Research/ introduce a superstition from your country!

2: Who is the most superstitious person in your family?

3: Do you believe in anything that ‘brings’ good luck or bad luck?

4: Do we have control over how lucky, or unlucky, we are?
