Hi everyone,
In this lesson, I will test your knowledge of history, as we discuss different inventions from the past!
After our first discussion, we will practice listening with a radio show, which talks about inventions.
From this, we will review some grammar - the passive - which we can use to enrich our discussion and speaking skills, before then trying to use it in our speech.

Session Activities

1: What are some ‘old’ inventions (over 50-100 years ago)

2: What are some ‘recent’ inventions? (around 5-20 years ago)

3: Which inventions have been the most important?

1: Create your own invention. Think about:

3: What problem does it solve?

4: How would you create it?

5: When you are listening to your partner, try to think of 1-2 questions to ask them about their invention.
